Q&A
Jdizzle. What should we do as USA Americans?
JDK. First, we should say we are USA Americas Americans.
We have welcomed so many Latin American and Central American peoples here. We should be more than USA Americans, but, rather know that this Americas hemisphere is very much us also as USA Americas Americans.
Jdizzle. What else?
JDK. Well the obvious advice for all is…Let’s Focus on Decency, Kindness, Health, Family, Jobs, Wealth, Fun and Community.
Jdizzle. Why don’t you take a break and answer some of those surveys.
JDK. Thank you Jdizzle. Why don’t you not “turn it down for what?”
Jdizzle. How often will you make basics affordable again?
JDK. At least through election day and any contingencies for any recount.
Jdizzle. And then what?
JDK. And then we “turn it down for what?” again.

Issue. MCPS Budget Funding and layoffs (May, 2026).
Hundreds of Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) employee positions are on the line if the County Council does not provide the full $2.52 billion operating budget in funding that the county school board asked for, according to emails this week from Superintendent Thomas Taylor.
My Response.
I believe in commensurate full-employment. Budgets also have to be balanced and funds distributed fairly.
We must make every effort using all resources possible to ensure people have jobs.
Employees within organizations, most, never offer to take paycuts to save jobs of others and MCEA and SEIU 500 Local represents all MCPS employees.
This should be considered also to help your fellow colleagues in different departments, etc.
You always have to advocate, compete for your share of the budget also.
I have also stated many times and repeatedly that work is one of the most important things for anybody unless they have sustaining finances.
So, commensurate full-employment will always be a priority for me and I’m passionate about this.
I have seen people deteriorate mentally and physically when they don’t have work. This is not a joke issue for me. Thank you.
Additional Information.
MCMG Council has approved and reallocated $36 million in current revenues from the six-year capital improvements program to MCPS, funding two of the tranches proposed for reductions.
According to council documents, funding will be moved from other projects.
